As of October 10, 2023, Mukesh Ambani was the wealthiest person in India, with an estimated net worth of 89.9 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Gautam Adani (No. 2, $53.8 billion), Shiv Nadar (No. 3, $28.9 billion) and Savitri Jindal (No. 4, $23.7 billion)

Cyrus Poonawalla is the fifth-richest person in India, with a whopping $20.6 billion. Dilip Shanghvi ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $18.4 billion, followed by Kumar Birla with $17.4 billion, Radhakishan Damani is placed 8th with a net worth of $16.8 billion.  Lakshmi Mittal ($15.6 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in India.
