888 Appoints Sean Wilkins in the role of CFO Effective from February 1

On Wednesday, 888, the owner of Mr. Green, William Hill, announced the appointment of Sean Wilkins as Chief Financial Officer, effective from February 1, 2024. Wilkins brings 17 years of CFO experience in both private and public companies to his new role. His most recent position was Group CFO at Superbet, an omni-channel betting and gaming company operating primarily in Romania, Poland, Serbia, and Belgium. Prior to this, he held CFO positions at various consumer-facing businesses, including Big Bus Tours, Domino’s Pizza, Tesco Malaysia, Tesco Telecom, and O2 Asia.

The current CFO, Yariv Dafna, will step down from his role and the board on October 2 after a smooth transition of responsibilities to Chief Strategy Officer Vaughan Lewis, who will also serve as interim CFO until Wilkins assumes the position. Executive Chair Lord Mendelsohn noted that Sean Wilkins brings not only extensive knowledge of the betting and gaming industry but also a wealth of relevant CFO experience from international businesses, showcasing a strong track record of value creation.
