John Rim is the new CFO of E Automotive
E Automotive Inc., the parent company of EBlock and EDealer, has appointed John Rim for the role of Chief Financial Officer. John Rim will officially join the company on October 1, and the current CFO, Andy Bohlin, will provide consultation and support during the transition.
John Rim, who brings 25 years of industry experience, will assume the role. He has spent the last 12 years as a CFO or Chief Operating Officer for publicly listed companies on various stock exchanges, including TSX, TSX-V, and NASDAQ.
Jason McClenahan, CEO of E Inc., expressed confidence in Rim’s appointment, citing his extensive experience in high-growth markets, particularly with profitable companies focused on M&A activities. McClenahan believes that Rim’s addition to the senior management team aligns well with their strategy at EINC, as they continue to scale their platform and work towards profitability in serving dealers in both the vehicle wholesale and retail sectors.
Rim’s background encompasses a range of companies, from startups to Fortune 500 multinational corporations, in both public and private sectors. Some of these companies include Brookfield, KIK Custom, and Bitfarms. His most recent role was as CFO at WonderFi Technologies. His experience covers financial planning, reviews, reporting, M&A due diligence and integration, IPO readiness, financial systems, internal controls, and tax planning.
Rim expressed enthusiasm for joining EINC, emphasizing the company’s disruptive approach to the vehicle wholesale market through its digital-meets-physical strategy. He sees this as an opportunity to collaborate with an experienced management team that offers a unique vision and technology platform in a high-growth market, catering to dealers in the way they prefer to transact.
