Wang Xiaokun, the founder and chairman of Cha Panda, has achieved the status of billionaire thanks to his recent funding round. The valuation of his Chinese tea chain came in at a staggering $2.1 billion, pushing the net worth of the 40-year-old entrepreneur to an impressive $1.1 billion.

This incredible achievement is a testament to Wang Xiaokun’s dedication and hard work in building a successful and thriving business.

The source of his wealth is predominantly derived from possessing almost 60% ownership of the beverage franchise headquartered in Chengdu. This company has experienced substantial growth in the past three years and currently operates over 7,000 stores.

Liu Weihong, who is married to Wang, has also accumulated a substantial wealth of $700 million through her 33% ownership of the company. In the previous year, Cha Panda generated a revenue of $580.3 million, which is a 16% increase from the year before.
