Richard Hallworth Joins Acorn Health as CEO

With over three decades of leadership in the multi-site healthcare services domain, Richard Hallworth is newly appointed President and CEO of Acorn Health.
Formerly, he served as the CEO at Corizon, the largest provider of privatized correctional health services in the nation, catering to over 345,000 individuals across 27 states through 530 facilities at the state and local levels. Prior to his tenure at Corizon, he held significant positions as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Tufts Health Plan, a healthcare insurance company based in the northeastern region, boasting a membership of more than 700,000 and an annual revenue exceeding $2.5 billion.
Hallworth possesses substantial expertise in behavioral health and other healthcare businesses. He notably served as the Chairman of the Board of ViaQuest, Inc., a provider of support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as Advanced Care Partners, a company specializing in home-based care for medically fragile patients.
In addition to his role, Hallworth also serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Foundation. Notably, he has previously held the chairmanship for several organizations, including Bradford Health Services, PhyMed Healthcare Group, DenMat Holdings LLC, Caregiver, Inc., and various charitable entities.
