As of July 19, 2023, Gianluigi Aponte was the wealthiest person in Switzerland, with an estimated net worth of 31.8 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Rafaela Aponte-Diamant (No. 2, $31.8 billion), Ernesto Bertarelli (No. 3, $9.6 billion); and Ivan Glasenberg (No. 4, $9.2 billion).

Guillaume Pousaz is the fifth-richest person in Switzerland, with a whopping $7.2 billion. Magdalena Martullo-Blocher ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $7.1 billion, followed by Rahel Blocher with $7.1 billion. Thomas Schmidheiny is placed 8th with a net worth of ($6.1 billion). Thomas Straumann ($6.0 billion) occupied the 9th position among Switzerland’s top 10 wealthiest people.
