Except for Warren Buffett, the top 10 richest people in the world have all lost billions so far this year. A recent tumble in tech stocks has dropped the fortune of the world’s wealthiest person, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, by $50 billion so far this year. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has lost $23.4 billion, Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin have both each lost more than $9 billion and Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg is down $12.7 billion.
Out of the world’s 10 wealthiest people, only one has watched his net worth increase: Warren Buffett, the CEO and Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, who is worth $113 billion, has been called the greatest investor in the world. Buffett has gained roughly $4.46 billion, bringing his total figure to $113 billion.
