To become a mariner is a dream for many and it is a challenging career as well. When you decide to become a mariner, you are going to be on the go for months and it is worth it too.     California maritime academy was founded in the year 1929 and is located in Vallejo, California. This is the only academy in the United States which has its campus and is located on the west coast.     The Greenwich maritime institute was founded in the year 1998 and is a major part of the University of Greenwich with a sole motive which was to get better at the marine research field.     The Tokyo university is located in Minato, Tokyo, and was founded in the year 1875. This university is a part of the National University of Japan and it is also a very well reputed university in the world for marine study/ course.
