The thought of visiting new places, meeting new people, and relishing new cuisines triggers wanderlust in most of the people but having chosen a perfect destination matters the most. Based on the popularity, facilities, scenic views, and accommodation, we’ve made a list for you to select your destination and make most of your vacation.

Detailed findings & methodology (Ranking the best places to visit around the world, 2020): In order to determine the rankings, researchers at the CEOWORLD magazine compiled, analyzed, and compared 500 destinations around the globe. Readers were invited to participate in a survey developed by the CEOWORLD magazine, in association with the research firm Global Business Policy Institute. Respondents were asked to rate destinations on a number of characteristics.

For each characteristic, respondents could choose a rating of world-class, outstanding, excellent, impressive, interesting, above average, average, below average, bad, or abysmal. The final scores are indexed averages of these responses. To compile the list, CEOWORLD magazine considered several factors, including Ease of Travel, Sights, Nightlife, Culture, Climate, Food, Cleanliness, Affordability (Value for Money), Shopping, Transport, Safety, and the friendliness of the local population towards foreign travelers. The rankings took into account both editors’ opinions and votes from readers.
