Lisbon has been recognized as the world’s best solo travel destination for first-timers for 2020, according to CEOWORLD magazine, while Sydney and Taipei placed second and third, respectively.
The 2020 rankings placed Krakow in fourth ahead of Cape Town into fifth; while Chiang Mai ranked sixth, and London seventh. Overall, among the top 10 best solo travel destinations for first-timers for 2020, the eighth, ninth, and tenth positions are held by Prague, Costa Rica, and Tokyo.

Dubai took the No. 11 spot, followed by Shimla (No.12) and Hội An in Vietnam (No.13). Meanwhile, Queenstown ranked No. 14 in the CEOWORLD magazine’s ranking of the best solo travel destinations for first-timers for 2020.
Barcelona came in fifteenth place, followed by Jammu and Kashmir (sixteenth), Quebec City (seventeenth), Bali (eighteenth), and the British Virgin Islands, ranked nineteenth. Out of 25 best solo travel destinations for first-timers for 2020, Mauritius ranked No. 20th. These are the 20 must-see solo travel destinations for first-time international travelers for 2020.
