Today, there are innumerable educational platforms which contribute immensely to the dissemination of educational content to people from all over the world. Many of these platforms cater to the needs of students of higher education and have even started assuming relevance in the world educational systems.

There are too many of these platforms to choose from, but there are certainly a few of them which enjoy international repute. Their user base runs in millions and their content deals with wide-ranging areas in higher education. In fact, there are many platforms which have been acknowledged by prominent higher education institutions such as Harvard.

Its kitty has more than 50,000 courses of all kinds which are divided into broad categories, namely paid and free. In addition to a website, Udemy has its own app which can be downloaded for free. In case you are wondering what the price range of its courses is, then you should know that it is quite competitive and varies from one course to another. Moreover, the platform runs eye-catching discounts from time to time.

    Another big name on the list, Coursera offers a customized range of courses. These courses may or may not be free, depending on their kind. You will find almost everything you can study about, from computer science to music.
    One of the many things which help Coursera remain strong in the competition is the fact that it has partnered with many reputed universities in the United States and beyond. Experts from these universities curate and teach in a student-friendly environment.
    There is a feature called “specializations” which essentially is an organized program involving step-by-step learning from an associated university and grant of an official certificate from the said university in the event of successful completion.     Ever since its establishment, it has included diverse kinds of courses from reputed institutes across the globe such as Peking University and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). Here, you will find courses on all kinds such as language-learning, Arts, Law, Business, international politics, and engineering.
    All you need to do is: Enroll in any of the courses, complete it, and get an official certificate upon payment of a fee for the same.
