These Are The Most (And Least) Religious Countries In Europe, PEW Study

Romania ranks first among 34 European countries in having the most religious citizens, according to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center. Some 55% of Romanians are highly religious. The results also show that religion is essential to 50% of Romanians. Some 50% of respondents attend a religious service once a month, 44% pray daily. Some 64% of Ukrainians say they believe in God with absolute certainty.

Armenia ranked number two on the list of the most religious European countries, as 51% Armenians are highly religious, followed by Georgia (50%) and Greece (49%). And the lowest level of religious commitment was recorded in Estonia (7%), Denmark (8%), and the Czech Republic (8%).
