This year 72 New Yorkers made the CEOWORLD magazine’s rich list index. The usual suspects are here, with Michael Bloomberg, Rupert Murdoch, David Koch, and George Soros, all making news this year.

With a personal wealth of 50.4 billion, a trained chemical engineer with a master’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), David Koch is the richest person in New York, 2018. The founder and CEO of Bloomberg, L.P., Michael Bloomberg ($46.2 Billion Net Worth) ranked number two on the list of “The Richest People In New York, 2018,” followed by Jim Simons ($20 Billion Net Worth), Rupert Murdoch ($18.9 Billion Net Worth), and Len Blavatnik ($16.6 Billion Net Worth).
