These are the 50 most powerful woman in U.S. business for 2018 by Fortune magazine

The CEO of Lockheed Martin Marillyn Hewson is the most powerful woman in American business, per Fortune magazine’s ranking for 2018. Marillyn Hewson, who was also ranked No. 194 on the list of the best CEOs in the world 2018 by CEOWORLD magazine, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s in economics from the University of Alabama, currently serves as a member of the Culverhouse College of Business Board of Visitors.

All of the top 5 women on the list are CEOs of their companies. They include Hewson in the number 1 spot; Mary Barra, Chairman and CEO of General Motors at No. 2; Abigail Johnson, Chairman and CEO, Fidelity Investments at No.3; Ginni, Chairman, President, and CEO of IBM at No. 4; and rounding out the top five, Gail K.
