Princeton takes No. 1 spot on the list of best universities in America, according to the U.S. News’ annual Best Colleges rankings for 2017, comparing more than 1,800 U.S. based institutions, of which 1,374 are ranked.
The number 1 pick might not surprise you – Princeton has topped the list since 2013.
Princeton was followed closely by Harvard University. The University of Chicago (also known as UChicago) moved up a notch to No. 3 on the list, tied with Yale University.
