China is the world’s largest producer of the hydroelectricity. The annual production of hydro electricity in China is estimated at 856.350 billion kilowatt hours, roughly double the produced by Brazil, in 2nd place.

Canada is 3rd in our list of top 10 countries that produce the most hydro electricity, which is 376.706 billion kilowatt hours a year. The next to feature in the list is the United States, in fourth; which produces 276.240 billion kilowatt hours a year.
