List Of Top 10 Nicest And Naughtiest Cities For Renters in America 2014

Dayton, Ohio was named the #1 on the list of top 10 nicest and naughtiest cities for renters in America 2014, according to a ranking by Rent.com. Did your city make the list?

Two other cities in Ohio, included in this awesome top 10 Nicest Cities for Renters List: Akron at No. 8 and Cleveland at No. 10.

Rent.com counts down the top 10 Nice/Naughty Cities for renters based on the top 75 metropolitan areas as deemed by the U.S. Census.

America’s top 10 nicest cities were ranked based on high rental inventory (greater than the national average) and low median rental rates.

America’s top 10 naughty cities based on lack of rental inventory (low vacancy rates) and affordability (high median rental rates vs. median household income)

Cities with exceptionally low rental vacancy rates (lower than the national average of 7.4%) and high median rental rates were considered “naughty.”
