100 Shocking Facts About 2,325 Super Rich And Successful Billionaires In The World

A record-breaking 12 million genuinely super rich around the world who were classified as millionaires, but only 2,325 billionaires with an aggregate net worth of approximately $7.291 trillion.

That’s an exclusive ultra wealthy club, of which the likes of Michael Bloomberg, Warren Buffett, Rupert Murdoch,  Mark Zuckerberg, and Richard Branson are members.

CEOWORLD magazine and BnbData Consultancy Services decided to dig a little deeper into research firm UBS & WEALTH-X’s BILLIONAIRE CENSUS 2014.

By compiling this list I’m not suggesting that these are the only 11 common traits of successful billionaires, I’m simply shedding light on some facts I’ve come to find.

So today I figured I’d eliminate the fluff and give you a list of the 11 shocking facts of the world’s 2,325 super rich and successful billionaires.

Bill Gates

– The 2,325 billionaires control nearly 4 percent of the world’s wealth.

– For every three million people on the planet there’s only one billionaire.

– The billionaire population grew by 7 percent to reach 2,325, between July 2013 and June 2014.

– 99% of the world’s  billionaires worth between $1 billion and $10 billion.

– The combined wealth of the 2,325 billionaires in the world increased by 12 percent to $7.3 trillion.

– If there is an average billionaire, he or she is worth around $3 billion.

– Europe has the highest number of billionaires population — 775 billionaires with an aggregate net worth of approximately $2.375 trillion.

– NORTH AMERICA has 609 billionaires with an aggregate net worth of approximately $2.371 trillion.

– Asia has 560 billionaires with an aggregate net worth of approximately $1.410 trillion.

– An average billionaire is 63 years old, and 93 percent of the world’s billionaire population is over 45.

– The US remains the country with the highest number of billionaires — 571 billionaires, with an aggregate net worth of approximately $2.266 trillion.
