Veteran Elizabeth Larson Assumes CFO Role at Siemens Government Technologies
Elizabeth Larson, a seasoned Siemens executive with over two decades of experience, has stepped into the role of Chief Financial Officer at the company’s federally focused U.S. arm. In her new capacity, Larson will oversee the financial and accounting functions supporting Siemens Government Technologies’ (SGT) technology and service teams, facilitating the delivery of mission-critical products and services to both U.S. and international government clients, as announced by SGT on Monday.
Larson’s most recent position was as the Head of Finance for the apparatus segment of electronic products at Siemens. During her nearly 22-year tenure at Siemens, Larson has held various roles of increasing responsibility, including Segment Controller, Director of Performance Controlling, and Regional Controller for the Americas and Asia Pacific regions. Her broad expertise positions her well to contribute to SGT’s strategic objectives and continued success.
John Ustica, President and CEO of SGT and a 2024 Wash100 awardee expressed confidence in Larson’s appointment, emphasizing her extensive experience and understanding of Siemens’ technology portfolio. He highlighted her role in addressing critical challenges in energy, automation, and digitalization faced by customers.
