Vinod Francis Named CFO of South Indian Bank

South Indian Bank announces the appointment of Vinod Francis, General Manager, as its new Chief Financial Officer and key managerial personnel as part of its strategic leadership transition plan. In this transition, Chithra H, Senior General Manager and the incumbent CFO will transition to the role of Chief Compliance Officer, ensuring a seamless handover of responsibilities. Francis’s recent role as Deputy CFO since June 2021 positions him strategically for his new responsibilities, ensuring continuity and stability in the bank’s financial operations.

Vinod Francis brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, boasting a distinguished career spanning over 18 years within the bank. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Francis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. His tenure at South Indian Bank since January 2006 has seen him traverse various functional domains, including credit underwriting, corporate finance, and branch management, with notable leadership roles in SME and corporate banking.
