Electrochaea Bolsters Leadership Team for Accelerated Growth

Electrochaea reinforces its management ensemble with the addition of two seasoned professionals. Tim Baack assumes the role of Chief Commercial Officer, while Karsten Hanich steps in as Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to his tenure at Electrochaea, Tim Baack held the position of CCO at Bullfinch Asset AG, a pioneering startup specializing in decentralized energy solutions for B2C clientele. Baack’s illustrious career boasts extensive managerial and consulting experience in both the energy and financial sectors. His repertoire includes engagements with prominent entities such as AES, E.ON, DZ-4, Conergy, and OX2, encompassing business development, project financing, and renewable energy endeavors on a global scale. Baack’s academic credentials feature a degree in industrial engineering from the Technical University of Berlin and a master’s degree in management from Stevens Institute of Technology, USA. At Electrochaea, Baack spearheads the management and coordination of PtX projects, augmenting the company’s sales initiatives and overall corporate evolution.

Karsten Hanich transitions to Electrochaea from GreenCom Networks AG, where he served as CFO, orchestrating the company’s acquisition by Enphase Energy Inc. and subsequent merger. With over two decades of experience in senior financial roles within the information and telecommunications sectors across Germany, the Middle East, and Africa, Hanich brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. His academic journey includes a degree in industrial engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in economics from the University of Aix-Marseille II, and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, USA. As CFO of Electrochaea, Hanich assumes responsibility for devising and executing the financial strategy, driving transformative change within the organization.

Electrochaea’s project pipeline extends across Europe and North America, underscoring its commitment to robust and sustainable growth. The appointment of these two key leadership positions marks a strategic milestone in the company’s journey, positioning it for continued success. With engagements spanning Canada, the USA, Denmark, and beyond, Electrochaea remains at the forefront of PtX initiatives.
