After two-and-a-half years at the helm of Syncro, Emily Glass has decided to resign from her role as CEO, marking the end of an era for the professional services automation (PSA) and remote monitoring and management (RMM) vendor.
A spokesperson for Syncro confirmed Glass’s departure, citing her desire to explore new opportunities. The company assured stakeholders of its stability, emphasizing the strength of its leadership team and the active involvement of the board and advisors. In a heartfelt message shared on LinkedIn, Glass expressed her gratitude for the journey she undertook with Syncro.
Assuming the CEO position in November 2021, Glass led Syncro through a transformative period, but her future endeavors remain undisclosed at this time. Her tenure allowed her to deepen her appreciation for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their unique challenges, fostering a profound understanding of the industry’s dynamics.
During her tenure, Glass spearheaded efforts to promote diversity within the executive team, achieving significant milestones in gender and racial diversity. She passionately championed Syncro’s mission to support MSPs, overseeing initiatives such as the revitalization of the resource center and the launch of the Workflow for MSPs podcast.
Prior to her role at Syncro, Glass enjoyed a distinguished career at Datto, where she held various key positions, including chief product officer and vice president of customer experience. Notably, Glass was a fervent advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusivity within the organization.
As Syncro prepares to embark on its next chapter, the company remains steadfast in its dedication to serving MSPs and advancing the industry.
