Just Eat Takeaway.com Appoints Mayte Oosterveld for the role of CFO
The Supervisory Board of Just Eat Takeaway.com, an esteemed online food delivery marketplace headquartered in Amsterdam, has revealed its intention to appoint Mayte Oosterveld as the Chief Financial Officer and member of its Management Board.
Oosterveld is set to assume the role of Chief Financial Officer of Just Eat Takeaway.com, succeeding Brent Wissink, who announced his decision to step down at the company’s Annual General Meeting in May 2024. Pending approval at the May 2024 Annual General Meeting, Oosterveld’s nomination will be finalized, with Wissink providing transitional support until December 2024.
Drawing from her extensive experience as the CFO of PLUS Holding B.V., a prominent Dutch supermarket retailer with an annual consumer turnover exceeding €5 billion, Oosterveld brings a wealth of financial acumen to her new role. With a background encompassing notable stints at Goldman Sachs and Ahold Delhaize, Oosterveld is acclaimed for her comprehensive financial expertise, encompassing strategic planning and international operations. Her proficiency in capital allocation, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance is poised to greatly benefit Just Eat Takeaway.com.
Dick Boer, Chair of the Supervisory Board of Just Eat Takeaway.com, expressed his delight in welcoming Oosterveld to the company, highlighting their prior collaboration at Ahold Delhaize, where she demonstrated exemplary leadership in the M&A department and played a pivotal role in driving financial planning, performance, and synergies following the merger with Delhaize. Boer emphasized Oosterveld’s capacity to provide robust financial stewardship to the Management Board.
