Karan Sangfai Succeeds Current President and CEO of HyLife due to Retirement
The President and Chief Executive Officer of HyLife has declared his retirement. Grant Lazaruk will step down effective February 29, 2024, after his long tenure with the company since 1997. HyLife has announced the appointment of Karan Sangfai as the new President and CEO, effective March 1st. Sangfai presently serves as HyLife’s Chief Strategic Officer.
Established in 1994, HyLife boasts a workforce of 2,500 employees and an annual production of 3.4 million hogs.
In the company’s statement, Sangfai is highlighted as a significant part of their leadership, deeply involved in the Steinbach community for the past two years. The release describes Sangfai as an experienced global leader who embodies the company’s values and has an extensive understanding of the business.
