Denise Dettingmeijer Takes Over from Dan Shedivy to Lead Medical Solutions as CFO

Denise Dettingmeijer has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of Medical Solutions, commencing on December 1, 2023. She takes over from Dan Shedivy, who will continue supporting the company until early January to ensure a smooth transition.

Headquartered in Omaha, Neb., Medical Solutions operates as one of the nation’s largest healthcare talent networks, linking nurses and allied health clinicians with hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide. Comprising brands like Aureus Medical Group, Matchwell, HOST Healthcare, FocusOne Solutions, and WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions, Medical Solutions connects nurses, allied health clinicians, and clinical leaders with healthcare facilities across the U.S.

As the CFO, Dettingmeijer will spearhead the financial operations and strategic growth planning across the company’s diverse locations. Dettingmeijer boasts over 20 years of experience as a CFO, most recently holding this role at Randstad North America and Global Businesses. Additionally, she served as the Managing Director of Global Finance Transformation and held executive positions at Aleris International, Inc., Alcoa, Inc., and ADAC Laboratories Europe.

Apart from her financial acumen, Dettingmeijer has actively championed diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), previously serving as a co-chair of Randstad’s Executive Diversity Council and establishing various business resource groups focusing on DEIB. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in management and human resource development, followed by a master’s degree in finance from the University of Connecticut.

Craig Meier, CEO of Medical Solutions, expressed enthusiasm about Dettingmeijer joining the team, emphasizing her extensive experience and alignment with the company’s culture and goals. He highlighted her leadership, process improvement expertise, and commitment to excellence, anticipating her contribution to fortifying the company’s financial strategy.
