Checkers & Rally’s has announced the appointment of Michael Blair as Chief Financial Officer and Scott Johnson as Chief Marketing Officer. Both Blair and Johnson will report directly to Checkers & Rally’s President and CEO, Frances Allen.

Michael Blair brings significant CFO experience within the national and international restaurant industry. His extensive career encompasses leadership roles in finance and accounting, payroll, risk management, human resources, legal, and IT departments. His most recent role was as the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer at Miller’s Ale House. Prior to that, Blair spent nine years with Bloomin’ Brands in various Finance positions, including Director of FP&A at Outback Steakhouse and later transitioning to Bloomin’ Brands International, where he served as their International CFO, overseeing financial performance across multiple global markets.
Scott Johnson brings extensive experience in the restaurant industry, having led marketing teams for various brands, including Smashburger, BurgerFi, BRAVO!, Bonefish Grill, and Outback Steakhouse. His successful track record includes driving significant AUV growth through innovative work in social media, digital commerce, menu development, and consumer engagement. Johnson’s most recent role was as Vice President and head of Marketing at Jollibee Group of Companies, overseeing marketing for Smashburger and JFC North America. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and head of Global Marketing for BurgerFi International, significantly contributing to the chain’s growth.
