Exa Infrastructure in Search of Permanent CEO
Exa Infrastructure has made an announcement that Nick Read, the current chair of the Exa board of directors, will assume control of the business immediately. In light of this change, Martijn Blanken, who held the position of Chief Executive, will step down. Blanken will continue to offer guidance to Read and the board of directors until the end of the year to facilitate a smooth transition. The company has initiated a thorough search process to identify a permanent CEO.
Nick Read, the former chief executive of Vodafone, took on the role of chairperson for Exa in June. He emphasized the company’s commitment to driving customer-focused innovation and leveraging growth opportunities in areas such as cloud, content, and AI.
In expressing gratitude for Martijn Blanken’s contributions, Read acknowledged Blanken’s role in positioning Exa as a leader in the data center-to-data center fiber industry. The company extended best wishes to Blanken for his future endeavors.
