Adrian Howd Becomes CFO & CBO at BiVictriX Therapeutics
BiVictriX Therapeutics plc (AIM: BVX) has appointed Adrian Howd, Ph.D., as the combined Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer. Alex Hughes will step down from his role as CFO on October 13.
Adrian brings more than 20 years of strategic financial and commercial experience in the biopharmaceutical industry to BiVictriX. He has held various financial roles, executive management positions, and board roles in the sector. Throughout his career, he has led multiple asset and corporate business development transactions and equity capital market fundraises totaling over €430 million. Adrian has substantial equity capital markets experience in the UK and overseas, gained during his previous senior roles at Berenberg Bank, ABN Amro, and Nomura.
Additionally, Adrian has served in senior management roles, including Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer at investment firm Malin plc, where he led the company to its debut on the Irish Stock Exchange in one of the largest European life science initial public offerings to date.
During his time at Malin, Adrian led investments in and served on the boards of UK-based companies Immunocore and Kymab. Both companies achieved significant exits, with Immunocore going public on NASDAQ and Kymab being acquired by Sanofi.
