Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah Joins Uber as CFO
Uber Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: UBER) announced that Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah will join the company as its Chief Financial Officer on November 13, 2023.
Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber, expressed his confidence in Mr. Mahendra-Rajah, describing him as an exceptionally skilled and dynamic finance executive with extensive experience in complex industries. Khosrowshahi anticipates that Mr. Mahendra-Rajah will contribute to Uber’s innovation and efficiency as the company continues its next phase of profitable growth.
Mr. Mahendra-Rajah also expressed his excitement about joining Uber, recognizing it as one of the world’s foremost technology companies and emphasizing the promising opportunities ahead.
Mr. Mahendra-Rajah is presently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Analog Devices (ADI). During his tenure at ADI, he was responsible for setting financial strategy and overseeing the global finance organization, which included financial management, planning, controls, and reporting. Before his role at ADI, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at WABCO Holdings Inc. His career also includes various financial leadership roles at companies such as Applied Materials, Visa, and United Technologies.
Mr. Mahendra-Rajah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. Additionally, he serves on the board of directors of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
