Valens Semiconductor (NYSE: VLN), a distinguished provider of advanced connectivity solutions for the automotive and audio-video sectors, has announced that Dror Heldenberg, who has served as Chief Financial Officer for over eight years, will step down. His departure will be effective starting September 1, 2023. Dror Heldenberg will remain connected to Valens Semiconductor in an advisory capacity to facilitate a seamless transition.

Yael Rozenberg Haine, currently holding the position of Vice President of Finance, will be the Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2023.

Ms. Rozenberg Haine brings a wealth of financial expertise and boasts a decade-long tenure at Valens Semiconductor. Prior to joining the company in 2013, she held various financial roles at Broadcom and Provigent, which was subsequently acquired by Broadcom. Her career commenced at KPMG. Yael Rozenberg Haine holds a degree in Accounting and Economics from Ben-Gurion University in Israel. She collaborated closely with Dror on vital undertakings such as the company’s initial public offering (IPO) and the oversight of financial planning and reporting. The search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer is underway at Valens Semiconductor.

Gideon Ben Zvi, Chief Executive Officer of Valens Semiconductor, remarked, ”Dror has made many important contributions to Valens Semiconductor over the past eight plus years. With his management, we have achieved significant milestones, including becoming a public company and listing our stock on the New York Stock Exchange. He also played a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy to support our growth and our path to profitability. I want to thank Dror for his wisdom, professionalism, and devotion, and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors. We are fortunate to have an executive with Yael’s experience and knowledge of the company and the semiconductor industry to serve as Interim Chief Financial Officer.”
