CEO Spotlight: AGM CEO Manuel Suarez Points To Crafting Engaging Social Media as Key to Success

Manuel Suarez is a true American success story. His personal narrative is the foundation for Attention Grabbing Media, or AGM, the full-service marketing agency he founded in 2016. In just five short years, the company has proven that its name is more than just clever. They’ve just been named 438th on the Inc. 5000 List 2021, which applauds the fastest-growing companies in the country.

Suarez built his company piece-by-piece, often working late into the night to make his dreams a reality. He always kept true to his belief that building a strong, steady and engaged social media following would help him to build his budding brand.

Humble Beginnings, Stunning Success

But his story wasn’t always so inspiring – which makes its turnaround all the more impactful. Just a decade ago, the CEO was facing addiction issues, bankruptcy and struggling to support his young family.

Today, he spends his days leading a team of 91 on-site and remote employees in delivering unique, original content that resonates with readers while advising a multitude of clients on maximising and utilizing their social media presences. Among his most successful ongoing collaborations is his partnership with Shark Tank investor Daymond John.

“Sometimes I look back on where I was compared to where I am now, and it’s crazy,” he said. “I’m very grateful for everything that led me to this point.”

Suarez first learned his e-commerce, marketing and social media skills on the job at his own company. After putting in two years of sweat equity, he was seeing monthly sales figures of over $600,000 and realizing that his life had a true purpose. A calling, even.

It’s this realization that further fueled his entrepreneurial fire and inspired him to share his mastery of marketing skills with other small business owners that weren’t making the most of their online presence. It is this mission, helping small business owners that need a hand, that sustains him, he said.

Since then, his ever-expanding team has shown no signs of slowing down. Suarez recently acquired a 6,000-sq. ft. Largo, Florida building to house his growing marketing empire.

“That expansion signaled the next phase of our growth, to me,” he said. “It was so rewarding to invite people to our brand-new space.”

His team moved into the renovated space – complete with brainstorming spaces, recording facilities and startup-style break rooms – on June 14. But the move truly felt complete at the company’s red carpet VIP opening party on Aug. 14, 2021.  Attended by some notable figures such as Dan Henry, Ruddy Rodriguez, and Nancy Cartwright, the glamorous evening was punctuated by toasts to Suarez and his team and tours of the new space.

“It was so fun to bring the whole team together, some of whom were meeting each other for the first time,” Suarez said. “As a CEO in the marketing business, I know how important that human connection is. Facilitating that for my own team was amazing.”

Helping Others, Nourishing Yourself

Along with their new digs, AGM is also planning on adding free weekly classes on marketing basics, generating leads and adjacent professional topics.

“The free workshops are part of AGM’s vision and goal to serve people on all levels. We will begin to hold seminars, workshops and have masterminds in the building to help serve the community and teach others about marketing,” said Suarez.

This is all part of their commitment to, not just their own employees, but their community. It’s important to AGM to reach the most in-need business owners – as Suarez once was himself. The CEO knows that, by sharing his knowledge and skills generously, he does good while also strengthening his ties to the community and generating untold goodwill.

Digging into Marketing

It is AGM’s mission to provide a full suite of customized digital marketing, social media and e-commerce services to businesses that prefer to outsource these deliverables.

Whether it’s fresh and original content, a results-driven social media marketing campaign, YoutTube-specific SEO or marketing and branding work, AGM has experts and can provide proven results at reaching specific audiences.

Through close work with business owners, Suarez and his team teach business leaders tips and tricks that can be used for engagement, generating leads, navigating social media and using a growth mindset and strategic approach to everyday business.

“We still retain our vision of wanting to help and serve others in our industry at all levels possible,” Suarez said. “That’s one of the main reasons I’m so excited about our growth. We’ll have even more opportunities to give back while continuing to serve our clients with excellence.”
