The gap between Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk is now only $20 billion
As of the beginning of 2021, the gap between the two billionaires (Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk) is now only $20 billion! Jeff Bezos, the richest person in the world, seems to be getting slowly reached by the second wealthiest man on earth.
As of January 2, 2021, the Amazon founder and CEO is estimated to be worth almost $190 billion, adding $75.4 billion to his fortune over the course of 2020.
The second richest and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk is now worth $170 billion. Musk’s wealth has soared by $142 billion in only a little over a year! To put that into context, that is greater than the annual GDP for Ukraine or Hungary — looking only at growth this year.
