The 20 best Cities in America to celebrate New Year’s Eve, ranked

New Year's Eve

Virginia Beach, VA ranked No. 1 out of 20 as the best American city to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Honolulu, HI; Plano, TX; Fremont, CA; and Irvine, CA rounded out the top five.

To determine which cities in America to celebrate New Year’s Eve, industry analysts compared the 100 most populated cities in the US across 15 key metrics. The data set ranges from safety and COVID-19 cases to quality food delivery options and costs. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale (100 being the best conditions for New Year’s Eve parties).
