A visit to this place goes in vain if you skip Universal Studios– the very popular theme park that opens up at 10 am. All the rides here are free once you buy the main ticket. Singapore Flyer

Aingapore Flyer, the World’s tallest Ferris wheel provides you a pleasant bird eye view of the whole city. Joining here during the sunset with the prior permission to dine will add stars to your trip. Having a height of approx. 165 meters, this giant wheel takes 30-35 minutes to complete one rotation. Advise you to go here on the first few days of your trip so that you can have an idea about what to explore next. Timing- 8:30 am to 10:30 pm

Merlion

Located at the center of the island, Merlion (8.7 meters tall half-fish and half-lion statue) is the official mascot of Singapore. Most iconic, mostly clicked and most sought after attraction of Singapore is this Merlion at Merlion Park, where the statue has a water fountain spurting out into the astonishing Marina Bay. Water all around coupled with the cool breeze in the evening will surely vanish away all your inertia.

Singapore Botanic Gardens

This 160-year-old tropical garden is honored as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is totally justified. This well-maintained exhilarating garden with abundant plant species, ponds, a few restaurants and exotic orchid garden with serene surroundings welcome everyone from 5 am to 12 midnight.

Night Safari

Night Safari, a trip to the first of its kind and highly recommended place at Mandai Lake Road offer you to visit various species of deer, leopards, pandas, bats, flying squirrels, and many others. You can either take the tram or opt for walking trails to explore the flora and fauna. Certain shows are organized from time to time. For clicks, you need to have good quality cameras that provide you clear night shots, since flash is not allowed for the sake of animals. Timing- 7:30 pm-12 midnight

Orchard Road

Now that’s the best option for shopaholics at Asia’s most famous shopping street. This 2 km street is not only the most visited shopping destination of Singapore but it also offers various other amenities like hotels, salons, cafes, restaurants, and boutiques, which remains packed on weekends.

Chinatown

Quite contrary to the rest of the city, this place has not-so towering buildings, with Chinese culture bursting out onto the streets full of the aroma of cuisine. You can witness Chinese, Hindu and Buddhist temples, Pinnacle @ Duxton Skybridge on top of the world’s tallest residential building, Red Dot Design Museum, Chinatown Street Market here.
