About a year ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers fired Mike Brown because they didn’t think he was good enough to coach LeBron James now he will coach Kobe Bryant, reportedly is four years, $18 million. Phil Jackson retired after the team’s loss to Dallas in the second round of the playoffs.
“We’ve met with Mike and are very impressed with him,” the Lakers said in a statement. “In addition, we have an outline for an agreement in place and hope to sign a contract within the next few days.”
