Dr. Randy Brazie

Dr. Randy Brazie, MD, SEP, a licensed Psychiatrist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, specializes in trauma, depression, and stress treatments. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Arizona Affiliated Hospitals. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry with extensive experience working across multiple sectors within the United States and New Zealand, including both clinic and hospital-based services, as well as in emergency and urgent care settings. He has held leadership positions in behavioral health clinics as a Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Brazie has completed a three-year training in a specialized technique called Somatic Experiencing, a cutting-edge approach developed by Peter Levine, PhD, and taught worldwide. Additionally, Dr. Brazie has worked with Deb Dana, a pioneer in translating and incorporating Polyvagal Theory, as developed by neuroscientist Stephen Porges, PhD.
Dr. Randy Brazie currently works part time in his private practice, as well as serving as a Medical Director for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. He is co-author of The Steadfast Leader book and co-founder of NeuroConsulting Group.
