The Nomination Committee of AB Electrolux has proposed the election of Yannick Fierling, the recently appointed President and CEO of AB Electrolux, as a new member of the Board of Directors at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 26, 2025. The Committee has also recommended the re-election of current Board members, including Torbjörn Lööf (Chair), Geert Follens, Petra Hedengran, Ulla Litzén, Daniel Nodhäll, Karin Overbeck, David Porter, and Michael Rauterkus.
Following Yannick Fierling’s appointment as President and CEO on January 1, 2025, succeeding Jonas Samuelson, and Samuelson’s subsequent resignation from the Board, the Committee has nominated Fierling to fill the vacancy.
The proposal indicates that the Board of Directors will consist of nine ordinary members elected at the AGM, with no deputies. The Nomination Committee plans to publish its full proposals, a detailed statement, and profiles of the proposed Board members ahead of the AGM.
The Nomination Committee includes representatives from major shareholders: Christian Cederholm (Investor AB, Chair), Marianne Nilsson (Swedbank Robur Funds), Anders Hansson (AMF Tjänstepension och Fonder), and Carina Silberg (Alecta), along with Torbjörn Lööf, Chair of the Board of AB Electrolux.
