Telenor Sweden Appoints Jonas Edén as CEO for 2025
Telenor Sweden has announced that Jonas Edén, the current head of its B2B division, will assume the role of CEO from January 1, 2025. He will succeed Bjørn Ivar Moen, who is stepping down to return to Norway. Edén has been with Telenor Sweden since 2012, holding a variety of key roles, including Chief Technology Officer, Head of Product & Strategy for B2B, and most recently, Head of B2B. He has been part of the company’s management team since 2019.
Jon Omund Revhaug, acting EVP and Head of Nordics for Telenor Group, noted that Edén’s extensive experience in both commercial and technological areas has provided him with a thorough understanding of the Swedish business and market. Revhaug explained that Edén has consistently demonstrated a clear vision for the company’s future and a strong grasp of the requirements for success in the Swedish and Nordic markets. He added that under the leadership of Bjørn Ivar Moen, Telenor Sweden has undergone a significant transformation and growth journey, and Edén is well-positioned to continue this trajectory.
Revhaug emphasized that Edén’s leadership would focus on advancing the company’s customer-driven transformation and leveraging a robust technology strategy to further enhance customer experiences in Sweden.
