Succession Plan for Treatt Following the Decision of Daemmon Reeves to Retire
Treatt PLC, a manufacturer and supplier of extracts and ingredients for the beverage, flavor, and fragrance industries, has appointed Alison Sleight as the interim Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1. Sleight, presently serving as the Group Finance and IT Director, will report to the board but won’t hold a directorship in the company. Additionally, she will take on the role of company secretary.
This appointment follows the news that Ryan Govender, the current CFO, will transition to the role of interim Chief Executive Officer from January 1, succeeding Daemmon Reeves, who will retire as CEO by December 31. Treatt is actively engaged in the process of appointing a permanent CEO and plans to make an announcement in due course.
Vijay Thakrar, the Chair, expressed delight at Alison’s appointment, stating that her shift to Interim CFO to support the business during Ryan’s interim CEO tenure is welcomed by the board. With a proven track record in her current role and a comprehensive understanding of Treatt’s operations, Alison is well-positioned to effectively serve as Interim CFO.
