Jigsaw has announced the appointment of Hash Ladha, former CEO of Oasis and Warehouse Group, as its new CEO, marking the exit of Beth Butterwick from the company. Ladha is set to assume his new position at the beginning of November, succeeding Butterwick, who served as CEO since May 2021.
Previously, Ladha held the role of CEO at Oasis and Warehouse Group from 2018 to 2020. He initially joined the group in 2010 as the multichannel director for Oasis, Warehouse, Coast, and Karen Millen. Over the years, he climbed the ranks, becoming the Chief Operating Officer of Oasis in 2013 and adding Warehouse to his responsibilities in 2015. His career also includes roles as the marketing director at New Look and marketing and operations director at Asos.
Beth Butterwick, who initially joined Jigsaw in 2020 as a consultant operating partner and later assumed the CEO role in 2021, has chosen to step down after three years with the company.
During Butterwick’s leadership, Jigsaw reported a substantial 28.6% increase in EBITDA, reaching £3.6 million in the year ending on January 28th. This success was driven by strong double-digit sales growth, particularly in the tailoring and dress categories.
