At the age of 97, the billionaire has a variety of business activities which he has been involved with such as palm oil and shipping. Industries around shipping are successful since Malaysia has 7 major large ports that handle the transportation of goods in Asia and the rest of the world. Quek Leng Chan is the 2nd-richest person in Malaysia, with $9.9 billion, followed by Teh Hong Piow ($5.5 billion), Ananda Krishnan ($5.4 billion); and Kuan Kam Hon & family ($5.1 billion).
