Best Fashion Schools In The World For 2026
Methodology: The CEOWORLD magazine Best Fashion Schools In The World Rankings 2026 are based on one of the most extensive independent assessments ever conducted within the global fashion education sector. The study surveyed more than 250,000 fashion executives, graduates, global fashion influencers, industry professionals, academics, employers, and recruiters across 180 territories between November 15, 2025, and February 22, 2026. Approximately 82% of interviews were conducted online, 10% by telephone, and the remaining 8% through post or face-to-face interactions. All quantitative interviews were carried out confidentially and independently, without relying on institutional data submissions.
The research was conducted by CEOWORLD magazine Research, the publication’s global center of excellence for primary research and evidence-based consulting services. The methodology combined publicly available data, independent research, and large-scale survey analysis to evaluate institutions worldwide. Participants were asked to assess schools on a scale ranging from 1 (“marginal”) to 100 (“outstanding”), with the option to select “don’t know” where appropriate.
The 2026 rankings were determined using seven weighted indicators designed to measure institutional quality, influence, and industry reputation. These include Perceived Global Brand Influence (20%), Recruiters’ Responses (20%), Academic Reputation (20%), Employers’ Feedback (10%), Job Placement Rate (10%), Admission Eligibility (10%), and Specialization (10%).
While the rankings highlight institutions that demonstrated exceptional performance across the evaluated criteria, CEOWORLD magazine emphasizes that the list is not exhaustive. Numerous fashion schools around the world continue to offer highly respected programs and distinctive educational experiences. As such, the rankings should be viewed as one of several important considerations for prospective students evaluating fashion education opportunities.
The overall margin of sampling error for the survey is ±1.2 percentage points. As with all global survey-based research, potential sources of error — including coverage limitations, nonresponse bias, and measurement variance — may influence findings. Due to rounding and the exclusion of “don’t know” or neutral responses, some percentage totals may not equal 100%. Unless otherwise stated, the global sample base reflects 250,000 respondents. All responses remained strictly confidential to ensure participants could provide candid, impartial, and professionally grounded evaluations.
