Miloud Alain Hassene is a French-born enterprise risk executive based in Canada, currently Global Senior Risk Management Officer at Veolia Water Tech, a French-based company. With more than two decades of international experience across various industries, including highly regulated sectors, he specializes in strategic foresight, geopolitical risk analysis, and transformation governance. His work focuses on helping organizations navigate the interconnected shocks shaping today’s multipolar world, where supply chains, technology, and global politics increasingly converge.

Miloud is the creator of the Black Dragon paradigm and the Geopolitical Sonar framework—two complementary models designed to help leaders anticipate systemic disruption through geopolitical awareness, signal detection, scenario thinking, and adaptive leadership. His approach integrates strategic intelligence, resilience, and forward-looking governance structures that empower executives to act with clarity under uncertainty. He has advised executive teams on risk appetite, governance reform, and enterprise resilience, and contributes thought leadership on global disruption, leadership transformation, and the future of risk. Miloud holds two master’s degrees, including advanced studies in business and strategic management, and is building a platform to modernize enterprise risk management for the next decade of global change.
