Melinda Davis Lux is an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at United Community Banks, one of the Southeast's largest full-service financial institutions, providing a full range of banking, wealth management and mortgage services for relationship oriented consumers and business owners. Prior to her work with UCB she spent 20 years in a law firm context, working with clients on business and finance strategy, while advising them on the complex strategic transactions that allowed them to achieve careful growth and reach critical financial goals. In her work leading cross-border M&A transactions she gained broad experience within manufacturing and distribution, as well as energy, infrastructure, software, and IT.
