Dr. Lisa Hinkelman is an educator, counselor, researcher and author who has spent 15+ years researching girls and educating adults as both as a professor at The Ohio State University and as the Founder/CEO of the national girl-serving non-profit, Ruling Our eXperiences (ROX), which operates programs in more than 400 schools throughout the country. She is the author of the Amazon #1 Hot New Release, ‘Girls Without Limits: Helping Girls Succeed in Relationships, Academics, Careers and Life’, and is the lead researcher behind the groundbreaking national survey, The Girls’ Index: New Insights Into the Complex World of Today’s Girls.

Lisa received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Education from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA and her master’s and doctorate degrees in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She has been honored as a ‘Woman You Should Know’ by Women in Economic Leadership Development (WELD), as a Nominated Changemaker for the White House United State of Women and a Smart Business Non-Profit CEO of the Year. Lisa is a former collegiate ice hockey player, rescue dog lover, craft beer enthusiast and new(ish) mom to baby girl, Irene.
