Leading Small Business Funder Debuts New Merchant Processing Division

Merchant Services Division

As today’s small businesses continue to juggle rising interest rates, inflationary pressure, and overall economic uncertainty, FundKite, a leading small business lender, has launched a new division aimed at better meeting the needs of today’s small businesses.

The company’s new Merchant Services Division provides small businesses with a comprehensive suite of payment solutions. This new offering will support all major credit card networks and utilize advanced payment technology to streamline credit and debit card transactions with lower fees. It will also provide daily financial reporting, secure acceptance of various electronic payments through point-of-sale systems, check guarantees, and more. Business owners will have access to a variety of payment methods, including contactless, mobile, ACH, POS, Gateway, and EMV transactions, all of which can be integrated into existing systems.

This mark’s FundKite’s expansion into the merchant processing space, furthering the company’s overarching mission to empower businesses with the resources they need to grow and succeed.

“Given today’s challenging economic climate, high interest rates, strained cash flow and increased difficulty in meeting lending criteria from traditional financial institutions, it’s more crucial than ever to help Main Street American thrive, by offering savings through unique payment solutions and alternative financing options,” said Alex Shvarts, CEO of FundKite. “These businesses are evaluating and upgrading their outdated, legacy payment processing providers. We’re seeing an incredible demand for our products and are proud to offer small businesses a wider suite of solutions, so they not only survive but grow.”

In a survey earlier this year, FundKite found that 77% of small business owners did not believe inflation would be remedied by the end of 2024, with 43% unsure whether or not the US would officially enter a recession by the end of the year. This environment of financial uncertainty further showcased the need for offerings that help Main Street America.

Businesses that work with FundKite Merchant Services have the added benefit of integrated support with customized funding solutions.. Overall, FundKite’s new offering helps cement the company as a one-stop-shop for small businesses nationwide.

Founded in 2015, FundKite has processed over 200,000 business funding applications across  the country to date and serves small business owners in a wide range of industries, including retail, restaurant, auto repair, manufacturing, and e-commerce. The company is based in Miami.
