Raju Bhauso Succeeds Vishnu Johri as CEO of Lumax Industries

Effective July 1, Lumax Industries has appointed Raju Bhauso as its new Chief Executive Officer, taking over from Vishnu Johri, who resigned for personal reasons. Johri will remain in the role until June 30. Raju Bhauso initially joined Lumax as Executive Director in October 2023.

Raju Bhauso holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Machine Design from Bangalore University. He brings over 30 years of extensive industry experience to the company. His career includes six years at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited and a 26-year tenure at Toyota Kirloskar Motors, where he held various positions such as Executive Vice President, Deputy Managing Director, and Environment Director before retiring on May 31, 2023.

Lumax Industries is a prominent player in the domestic automotive lighting market, providing a wide array of products like headlamps, tail lamps, and auxiliary lamps. The company caters to all segments of the automotive industry, including passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, commercial vehicles, buses, and tractors.
