Top Wedding Destinations In The World – What British Choose

Most weddings usually take place in the summer. Couples choose popular destinations to remember this important day of their lives. The dream of most couples is to get married in Dubai. Dubai is famous for its imposing buildings, luxury, and warm weather. More than 200,000 people in Great Britain use search engines to find more information each month. Of course, all social media posts related to wedding ceremonies in Dubai have millions of likes and shares.

In second place on the list is a very expensive city, but clearly, when it comes to such a special moment, money should not be an obstacle. Miami is easily accessible, has luxury hotels, and has great nightlife. What more could anyone ask for?

Singapore is third in line. The most attractive location for young couples seems to be the Fullerton Bay Hotel because of the great view it offers. Las Vegas and Sydney completed the top five. Las Vegas is another opulent option, which combines the natural landscape of the desert with casinos, bright lights, and entertainment. Sydney may be far away, but the combination of its high architecture with the ocean’s magic makes it an ideal choice. Here, young couples can swim in the sea, picnic on the beach, or simply enjoy the sun.

Dublin (6th place), Bali (7th place), Cape Town (8th place), Salzburg (9th place), and Ibiza (10th place) follow on the list. Among the 20 most popular wedding destinations is a Greek island. You can probably guess which one it is since many couples from different countries travel there every summer to get married. Of course, this is Santorini.

Santorini is in 19th place on the list, while precisely one place below is Honolulu. If you decide to have your wedding in Santorini, know it will be a unique experience. I’m Greek, so I strongly support this choice for weddings and other romantic ceremonies. The blue sea, the spectacular sunset, the white houses, the black soil, the villages of the Caldera, and the red and black rocks of the volcano, will create for you the right background to take the most beautiful photos. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking.

It is estimated that more than 1000 couples each year say «Yes, I do,» with the Caldera as a background. Also, many couples visit Santorini for their wedding anniversary. In fact, the island is one of the most expensive in the Cyclades for organizing a wedding party.

The above list was compiled by the British company Moss, which revealed the top 20 destinations that the British chose for an unforgettable wedding. Of course, these destinations are not only loved by the British but also by many other inhabitants of this planet.

It is worth mentioning the other wedding destinations included in the list. Istria is ranked 11th, Aspen 12th, St. Lucia 13th, Kyoto 14th, Tuscany 15th, Helsinki 16th, Udaipur 17th, Cancun 18th, Santorini, as mentioned above, in 19th place, and Honolulu in 20th place.
