Top 10 Most Delicious Cuisines In The World

When it comes to good food who cannot be interested to know which are the countries traditionally offering the most delicious plates!

Italy comes first on the list with the top 10 cuisines internationally for 2022. Second, comes Greece and third Spain. Romania holds 4th place in the list, while France completes the top 5 countries with the most delicious cuisines in the world.

Of course, people all over the world know that spaghetti is the most popular Italian pasta. Italians also consume pizza. Traditional Italian pizza is made of flattened round dough topped with cheese and tomato and garnished with basil, olives, and oregano. Ragu Alla Bolognese, lasagne, gnocchi, and risotto are some other famous Italian dishes.

Greece also has a delicious cuisine which is known all over the world. Most of the dishes are based on vegetables, feta, and fish. All the ingredients are cultivated in small villages and islands and, for this reason, are fresh and healthy. Maybe you have heard about “gemista,” stuffed vegetables with rice and herbs, or the Cretan “dakos,” which is prepared with rusk topped with chopped tomatoes, feta, herbs, and olive oil.

When it comes to Spain, one of the most famous Spanish dishes is Paella Valenciana, with rabbit and chicken. But you have the option of seafood paella. Also, Spain is known for its Gazpacho, a tomato-based soup, jamon, and churros.

Romanian food has been influenced by Balkan, Turkish, Serbian, German, and Hungarian cuisines. One of the most common Romanian dishes is cabbage rolls filled with meat, rice, and herbs. Some other popular Romanian dishes are the grilled minced meat balls (mici) and the beef tripe soup, which is called Ciorbă de burtă.

As far as France is concerned you should not miss tasting steak frites, chicken confit, French onion soup, Bouillabaisse, Quiche Lorraine, Croque monsieur and Boeuf bourguignon.

Japan holds 6th place in the list, and next follows Mexico. Croatia comes in 8th place on the list, while Portugal and India hold 9th and 10th place on the list, respectively.

There is no doubt that Japan’s cuisine is unique. You will find a variety of sushi, udon noodles, tofu, tempura, sashimi, and donburi.
In Mexico, you can also try some delicious dishes. For example, you can have Chilaquiles, Pozole, Tacos al pastor, Tostadas and Chiles en nogada.

Croatian food is not as famous as the ones mentioned above. However, there are some delicious choices that you won’t regret tasting. Crni rižot (black risotto), Gregada (fish stew), Istrian truffles, and Kulen sausage are some of the delicious Croatian dishes.

A famous Portuguese soup is Caldo Verde. However, if you don’t like soups, another choice is Bacalhau or Portuguese codfish which is usually prepared in many different ways. If you visit Lisbon in summer, there is no way not to smell the grilled sardines in the streets.

Chicken with a spicy tomato sauce (Chicken Makhani), Samosas (fried or baked pastry with savory fillings), and Aloo Gobi (made with potatoes (aloo), cauliflower (gobi), and Indian spices) are three Indian dishes that someone can taste.
