What To Do On Your Honeymoon

Honeymoon is a one-time experience for many people, and they are excited to make it perfect. The destination you will pick to make your dream come true is the second most crucial choice; we guess going with the right person is the most important…However, apart from the correct person and place, the things you will do there will make the trip different from other trips. Honeymoon is a personal thing, and everyone can choose to spend it as they please, yet going to museums and doing extreme sports are not typical for honeymooners. We suppose that focusing on your relationship with the other person is quite vital. The recipe for a joyful trip is not complicated. You just have to keep in mind that you only need to keep it simple. If swimming and cadling are all you want to do, you are probably on the right path.

Below, we throw some ideas on how to enjoy your trip the most and what you should expect.

  1. Spice up your sex life
Not all newly married people are new couples. Some might know each other for years before they decide to do the big step. Just because you are on your honeymoon, you don’t have to worry about focusing on the sex part. Research has been conducted on the frequency that couples make love during the honeymoon, and the results vary from zero to multiple times per day.
The majority claims that they make love once a day during the trip and that this is relatively more frequent than daily life at home. If you are the bride, pack some sexy lingerie and wear them for your special nights.
In any case, you will have a lot of free time, and you will be relaxed entirely from all other obligations, so you will have the chance to enjoy these moments with your couple. As with everything in life, helping the situation a little bit won’t hurt. If you are the groom, buy some lingerie for your lady and make a present for her and yourself.
  2. Take pictures
You have prepared for this trip, and some of you may have been waiting for this their whole life, so you’d better make sure you keep memories and take pictures and videos. Apart from the romantic ones, you can also make funny faces and enjoy photo shooting activities just to have fun with your wife or husband.
Even though we encourage you to take a lot of pictures since this is something you will remember for the rest of your lives, we strongly recommend keeping a distance from social media. Even talking on the phone to your mom might be considered to be a bad idea.
Your beloved ones will know every little detail of the trip once you return; while you are there, you should better focus on the so-called ”here and now.” Psychologists claim that people who think about the past tend to be depressed, while people who focus on the future end up stressed. Those who live in the present time are the ones who are happy and full of experiences.
  3. Catch a sunrise
Sunsets dominate honeymoon pictures, and everyone assumes that afterward, you either go to go room or go for a drink at a local bar, and that’s it. Still, sunrises are less common cause you usually sleep at that part of the day. We think it is worth staying awake for a night and seeing this beautiful view. If you are in a warm place, we will encourage you to go to the beach at night. Especially if the beach is sandy and you don’t feel frightened about what is underneath your feet in the water, you should definitely try this out. Spending a night there watching the stars is very romantic and something you won’t ever have the chance to do in a big city.
  4. Relax and indulge in sweet sins
From swimming, to dancing and tasting local cocktails, the honeymoon is about being yourself. If you are the kind of person who overdoes it with food, it’s ok to let yourself surrender to your weakness now.
If you prefer to drink a little more once in a while, go ahead and do it. Satisfying your needs could be one of your goals for the trip. A greek philosopher named Epikouros used to praise the human delights, claiming that they are the purpose of our existence.
We don’t want to state that this is always the case, but we do support the idea that the honeymoon is the perfect playground for such an approach. Desires exist to become fulfilled, and you came to this world to be happy.
